This kickoff marks more than a lineup of events. It’s a gathering of artists, performers, creatives, and community coming together to uplift Black voices, honor Black history, and create space where joy, power, and artistry are centered without compromise. From drag and burlesque to dance floors, gospel brunch, and late-night raves, every moment this weekend is intentional and community-driven. Paying Tribute Fest is about visibility, legacy, and showing up for one another. It’s about giving flowers, passing the mic, and making room for Black joy in all its forms.
